Password Generator

Choose a length and the character types to include, then press Generate. Passwords come from your browser’s cryptographically secure random generator (crypto.getRandomValues) with unbiased selection, always include at least one character of each chosen type, and never leave your device.

This tool runs in an isolated frame on tools.freetoolspro.com. Your files and inputs stay on your device, and advertising on this page cannot read them.

How strong is strong?

Entropy = length × log₂(number of possible characters). Around 80 bits or more resists offline guessing attacks with current hardware; length adds strength faster than extra symbol types.

Privacy

Passwords are generated inside the isolated tools.freetoolspro.com frame and are not stored, logged or sent anywhere. Advertising on this page cannot read them. For real accounts, save them straight into a password manager.

Method

Each character index is drawn with rejection sampling over 32-bit random values, so no character is more likely than another; one character of each selected type is placed, and the result is shuffled with a Fisher–Yates shuffle using the same generator.

Common questions

Is this better than a passphrase?

Both are fine at equal entropy. Random characters are compact; passphrases are easier to type and remember.

Can I see previously generated passwords?

No. Nothing is kept once you leave or clear the page.
